“I am steadily working, as best as I am able, to move stroke away from the centre of my being. I feel it would be nice to put it on a shelf over there and get on with the more important, amusing, beautiful, interesting things that life has to offer.”
Bob & Rups worked together to produce this material,
“Poo for you.”
A weird and wonderful experimental mix of images and voices.
(probably not intended to be taken too seriously.)
Guaranteed. There is more to follow.
Oh yes. I said more and here it is
Now the last but not the least.
Looking for a beginning.
There is a tomorrow.
This experiment, this work and the adventure will continue.
Where next I wonder?
keep on keepin on

I love all this, I know this forum is about serious stuff, but I find other stuff comforting and good for my mental health, I can go days/weeks without seeing or talking to anyone, I have tried to go back to going out, shops, pub, gigs etc but the noise, busyness, fast pace is now too much and I panic…( I still enjoy long train trips cos I can sit quietly and watch the landscape…Yes that weird looking woman sitting in the corner is moi!!!).i am sure there are other strokers who live alone and experience the same, their once busy lives shattered by stroke…anything that distracts and interests in a quieter way is great….keep em coming you guys xx
As the senior member of our duo, and also someone who lives on me Tod, it is a way to be social creatively, of course, as Bobbi is the junior member, I sometimes get fatigued by his youthful energy and constant fiddling, but as two stroke survivors playing together and engaging our imaginations, it is also respite from the usual cognitive pressures throughout the day.
There’s room for all life has to offer here, with room for a bit more, I’m sure.
There’s definitely room for encouragement, not just for me. Share it around, make the world smile.
There’s room for saying what you feel, for speaking out, for saying “us” and seeing that we all live together in this chaotic, frantic and sometimes peaceful and quiet world. There’s time for listening to the noises as it all rumbles round and round around the sun.
Thank you @Susie1 for your kind comment. We might be overwhelmed, but we can shout out, we are alive, on this non-stop whirling fairground ride.
Grin a daft grin and wave a big wave. We are here, we really are here.
