Kids say the funniest things

Hi Everyone Just thought I’d share this with you.
My 7 year old grand daughter has recently been asking questions about why my arm doesn’t work and why I walk with a stick.

We have been struggling with how to explain a stroke to a 7 year old without it being too complicated or without worrying her. I then discovered that the Different Strokes Charity have a book aimed at children so I ordered one. Although it didn’t really explain why anyone has a stroke, it’s good at explaining how things are after.

Our grand daughter is an expert on her iPad and so my husband explained that if something inside your iPad is broken, you can’t do some of things that you would normally do on it and she said “so Nanny your brain is broken” :joy:. Who knew it was so easy to explain . Just waiting for the other 4 grand children to ask :joy:. Maybe we should let the 7 year old explain.

Regards Sue

Oh that’s funny - kids do have a great way of explaining things. I think you should let your granddaughter explain to anyone who asks :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
