Not sure about them working too well.
We had a similar experience with blood pressure (BP) medication. Mum was put on the meds post stroke though pre-stroke she was on NO medications and her BP was fine.

Post discharge she was on several meds which were all new and as a result of her stay in hospital. We tried to get the GP to review and take her off them but they insisted they were necessary. So against our own views and judgement we followed their advice and carried on. Unfortunately, this did result in BP going too low as well as other meds related developments and Mum ended up in hospital. Luckily for us, the hospital consultant agreed with us and Mum was taken off BP meds. She has never been on it since and her BP is fine.

She was also on other meds and again we asked she be taken off them and luckily and after much persistence she is now only on the one 75 mg of Asprin to thin her blood. We would take her off that too if we could but perhaps we’ll wait a bit longer.

I would suggest you review your BP meds and other meds to see if they are really necessary. Just my suggestion based on what you said about the BP meds working “too well”.

Wishing you all the best in your Bezos Villa - sounds like an interesting story, shame about the NDA but well done. I can kind of guess what might have happened and can say I would have done the same had I been in your shoes. So pleased for you.

Do look after yourself - we don’t want you coming back in another six months with another write-off

Namaste|

@cuddyhung good to hear from you again. You’ve certainly had an eventful time of it. Not really what you needed but glad you are ok.

If it was me I would be paying close attention to my BP now so you can see your dr early if you notice any blips.

It sounds like your move to the ground floor flat will be good for your needs & will definitely resolve the falling down stairs issue. Good luck in your new home - gkad something positive has come out of your 4 year battle

Best wishes

Ann
