Sitting all day, I can’t prevent slumping in my chair and sometimes trapping my catheter.
Do others experience a similar problem? I am becoming catheter-obsessive

It’s a (male) urinary catheter. I’ve asked for details. Bypasses when the leg bag is nearly full, but occasionally otherwise.
I’m now advised, Prosys all silicone PDF 14M10E but I’m none the wiser!

I am none-the- wiser about the technical details but I had an internal catheter which entailed a plastic tube being inserted through my penis into my bladder, and which then connected to a leg bag. The insertion every 3 months became an excruciatingly painful procedure, which brought me to screaming point and caused a seizure which put me back in hospital. I was then put in touch with a Nightingale Nurse, who informed me of an alternative device called a conveen or convene, which is a condom-like device that fits over the glans of the penis. It needs 2 hands to do the job, so the pleasure falls to my carer(!), as I have only one usable hand.At night, the tube goes into a night bag which allows me uninterrupted sleep and no discomfort.The bag collects about 1 to 2 litres overnight.The night bag fits onto a stand which sits on the floor at the side of my bed The strange thing is that NHS seem reluctant to prescribe it and many medics have never heard of it! But the system is brilliant and it suits me perfectly. Ask your GP to refer you to Nightingale Nurse; I don’t think you’ll regret it ! It meant I could even go out for a pint , if I could get someone to push my wheelchair !!BEST OF LUCK FOR THE FUTURE!

Geoffrey - I don’t believe we’ve met. It’s nice to meet you 
I am no expert on this, but when Mum was using a catheter, there is a strap we used to use which allowed the catheter to be held in place. Not sure if this is the same as yours, but maybe something similar exists?
If so, your district nurse or catheter provider should be able to get you one.
