Research participation requests are sent to the Stroke Association from external research institutions (e.g. universities and hospitals).
We conduct checks on these before promoting but are not involved in their running. This means we cannot comment on trials and have no affiliation with them.
University of Exeter
We are a research team at the University of Exeter investigating the way patients with specific conditions or a mix of conditions, and GPs/nurses, evaluate symptoms and further investigate them for possible cancer diagnosis.
We would like to conduct research interviews (online/phone/face-to-face) with individuals who are diagnosed with : Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, anxiety and/or depression, obesity, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or with a mix of these and other conditions
Each interviewee will be given a £30 shopping voucher to thank them for their time.
