hi Somebody on here posted a link to a video of a lady who had “thought outside the box” and made a great recovery from stroke. There was also a link to a course which the poster recommended.
The video was great but now I can’t find it. thanks

Hello Trisha - I hope whoever posted this will see your message and help you. I don’t remember reading about a lady who made a great recovery by thinking outside the box. Normally I would remember something like this especially if there was a video to go with it.
I expect you done a search and not found it. Perhaps you can remember some key words.
I searched for “outside the box” and some posts came up but none that I could see that matched your description.
Did you respond or comment on it? If you did you will find it in the activity section of your profile.
Hope you find it soon.
Was in a recent post or much older one?
Or did you just read it recently? Would it be possible to search through your browser history to find it?
If it’s the one I’m thinking about, that was some time last year I think and much harder to search through the posts without some key words to help.
Lorraine
@Trisha2 I wonder if it was something posted by @pando as he has posted loads of links & often come up with stuff “outside the box”. You could try using the search function putting his name in the top box & changing the 2nd box from topics/posts to users. I too am struggling to recall this video but I often forget things so that’s not unusual. Hope you manage to find it.
Yes,
I do advocate “outside the box” thinking ; I love that term. I think you refer to Linda Radestad who I have talked with online. She was very inspirational to me when I first read her book “Stroke Rebel”. I suggest the following TED talk she gives to start you off
Best wishes, Roland

Thank you Roland. Hope you’re getting on ok.
Thank you Ann,
I’ve just come back from the 3rd time since my stroke (exactly 2½ years ago) that I’ve walked a mile. I thought about Linda Radestad on my walk that it was her phrase “to think outside the box” describing the desperate state we find ourselves in, after stroke, and the solutions we must embrace.
I went one stage further, and surmised what is out of the box for somebody else might be totally inside my box, and what is outside my box… well that would sound like far-out sci-fi to that same somebody else !!!
Best wishes to you, and with work etc.
ciao, Roland
Thanks Roland. That’s the one!
That’s brilliant Roland. Hope you enjoyed the walk.
You are about whats in the box for one being out for another. That’s what makes us all different.
Thank you for the link too. It seems thats the exact one @trisha2 was after.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
