We have good days and we have our bad. But the one thing we all have in common is that we do have days! And every day is advancement, progress, even on our bad days…brain shuts down to rest days, and that’s ok, that’s still progression.
The hard part for you is not getting sucked by his bad days. You have to learn to “decencities” yourself somewhat because it can’t be helped. And it will get easier, it just takes so darn long.

@Clairekirby1990 , good to hear. Like your husband, I to am on anti-depressants (albeit for different reasons), from my experience, they can affect moods. From feeling good one moment to feeling down in the dumps the next. If you are concerned about them, talk to his GP. Also the effects will be more different because of his stroke. As I said, talk to his GP.
