So in the kitchen the other night, hubby dropped a tablet…got down on his hands and knees, found it and got back up again without any help- I was absolutely gobsmacked. He spent the next 2 days recovering but I’m still taking the positive from that! The embarrassing news was me on the phone to Barclaycard today with a dispute, getting overwhelmed and then crying to the nice man who was trying to help me! Tell me it’s perfectly normal or humour me and tell me that it’s normal. I’ve been quite calm this week too so obviously anxiety reared her ugly head again
It is perfectly normal! When we’ve been under pressure, and then something goes wrong, it seems like JUST TOO O O O MUCH!!! Breathe–and give yourself a break.
It is normal. Everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes. The poor lady on my works IT helpdesk must have wondered what she’d done when she answered my call one day as I blubbed like a baby.
It could well be anxiety related.
Great achievement for your husband too. Well done.
Great news about hubby. Is like when my other half got hold of his phone and keyed in the password without any help after spending days struggling to remember it. Celebrate the unexpected little victories.
I broke down in tears when our online shop arrived and I couldn’t find the door key, thankfully the delivery man waited and said nothing about my teary face.
Coping with a loved one who has suffered a stroke is emotionally draining. Be kind to yourself.
Well done hubby, Great news.
Well done you for being calm - there is nothing to be embarrassed about.
