I can now go for a short walk with the walking stick but it’s always raining!! Want to be able to go for a walk in the sunshine

Oh yes, I hear you on that one. It has been like winter time here for 3 days with never ending wind and rain. I had to get a taxi so that I could go out for fresh food!
The good news is that some good weather is being forecast from Monday onwards so hopefuly we can get out with our walking aids!

Ohbyes @RaksP wouldn’t it be nice if the rain went away. I did manage a walk the other day between rain showers. Meant to be drier from tomorrow so here’s to more walks for everyone.

I still remember when I first became able to walk by myself, nothing was going to hold me back 
I walked through anything, in fact one day I had sunshine, hail, snow, rain and sunshine all in the that one walk. Other times I came home absolutely soaked to the skin. Couldn’t come in through the front door like that so had to go round the back and strip in the kitchen, everything was so wet

Saw a clip on tiktok of some seriously high waves down there due to the high winds, I thought it was a tsunami at first 
Just came back from my walk No rain today and a bit of sunshine but it’s still cold

Aye.
And her in Basingstoke it’s very mixed. Went out with a jacket on Friday and it was cold. Took my winter coat yesterday and almost got baked! Was supposed to be clear today but it’s wet. Gotta love the UK!

I love walking but sometimes its so varied it frustrates me. 1 day i can go for a nice slow walk around where i live as theres a lovely woods next to a large park or i can walk down the side of the golf course. The next day i am lucky to walk the shop which is 5 mins… very strange at times… my brain just does an ok sit down… ooh theres a bench…
