Vine weevil grubs found in my potted Hydrangea that was flagging. They munch away at roots in containerised plant. So check if anything wilts or flags

tried to do “No Mow May” but after three weeks of it looking fairly dire the neighbour strimmed the lot so it’s back to mowing the front lawn. We do have quite a few wild flowers round the compost heaps though - can’t work out how to get the photos on here but I’m pleased with my weeds and my lupins
I dig sweet pea trench put in compost, firm , put up supports and it’s over to the good lady to sow plant water liquid feed, side shoot train up canes and cut. Her favourite gardening pastime
@Pds i love sweet peas too. Your rhododendron looks great too. You’ve done well putting up all those supports.

those are compost bins. We seem to have acquired six of them so I’m making a feature of them
Some of the lovely flowers in my garden today. I love the colour of the rhododendron & peony.
After a sunny day we now have a thunderstorm here. Probably be no petals left on them soon
