I’m the same way. I’m much more patient now, but still have a way to go.

There is so much we have to LEARN in life, how to walk, how to talk, how to read and how to write. Then there are the harder things–patience, resilience, persistence, courage, faith, wisdom, love, acceptance.

It is often said that we all have a book in us. Let’s get WRITING our novels. I wonder what they’ll be about.

Seeing something for the first time is a NOVEL and exciting thing for a child and for an adult.

When ADULTS attend their kids achool sports day they often get very competitive & want to come first especially in the 3 legged race.

I guess the COMPETITIVE spirit lies in most of us-even in a tortoise or a hare–or ostriches???

Halloween is a time when SPIRITS come calling. Here’s someone trying to get into the spirit with their garden ghosts.

I have wimpy looking tomato plants growing in my GARDEN right now. Some people are a lot more creative. (I guess that’s the word for it!)

Oh wow they’re very creative.

The Spanish have a TOMATO festival, known as La Tomatina, where they throw tomatoes at each other - a grown up food fight. Lolks messy to me.

For four decades Albuquerque, New Mexico has held The International Balloon Fiesta during the first or second week of October. In this photo there are nearly 600 balloons present.

Wow amazing to see so many balloons.

Kids love playing with BALLOONS but they always get upset when the balloon bursts or they let go of it accidentally and it flies away.

Some kids also get upset when they ACCIDENTALLY spill their milk. Others just take it in stride.

I was always happy to spill my milk as I don’t like milk :rofl:

If you eat too much food you’ll probably end up with an UPSET tummy

People are not happy with ordinary good food, like potatoes, salad, rice, pea soup, cherries, cheese or ice cream. Oh no. Those things are not exciting enough. They must challenge themselves with the ickiest things that can be found. In Korea people enjoy eating Sannakj (live octopus).

OR in the Philppines, Balut (fertilized duck embryo)

Deep fried Tarantulas are enjoyed in Cambodia

In Japan, it’s Fugu (Pufferfish.

We’ll, you know what they say, “When in Rome…”. Rome is ok with me. I love Pasta and Pizza! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Oh yuck. I think I will stick to pizza & pasta too.

@ManjiB that made me chuckle

Kids get EXCITED really easily and they are especially excited when school has finished for the holidays.

Kids are also happy when they have FINISHED a job–like this little boy, who painted his room.. “I’m all done now , Mom. Can I have some ice cream?”

KIDS have a great artistic nature. They even use the walls to practice their skills.

Most of us have an ordinary home with ordinary WALLS. But if you have a lot of extra money, you can do some interesting things with a wall.

I think the child in your post did a pretty good job of making a unique wall!

Great walls there.

When someone becomes famous they might end up on a WALL of fame.
