Hey Jeanne - No offense taken.

Dogs are amazing.

I don’t yet have a pet dog, but one day I hope to get one.
I’d like to get one now as they are (I believe) amazing healers - they help relax us humans and help us in many ways but I am not sure I could cope with having a dog and looking after Mum though it would be beneficial to Mum’s health (as well as mine).

I have done that with my dinner before now. I lost all the roast potatoes on the floor once & Sunday dinner without roasties just isn’t the same.

Some people treat their pets like humans & will lay a place at tte DINNER table for their dog.

We all like to have a TREAT every now and then, but it’s no fun when you have to wait too long to get it!

Oh I feel for him. He can’t eat his treat from there

A trip to the beach is always FUN & made even better if you get an ice cream too :face_savoring_food:

The BEACH is a wonderful place to be, unless you’re a beached whale. These people in Indonesia were able to save six beached sperm whales.

Wow that’s a lot of people needed to move that whale.

When people ir animals get into trouble at the beach the lifeboat people are on hand to SAVE the day.

No one likes to get into TROUBLE, especially kids and animals.

Uh oh. I used to draw on the wallpaper when I was little. Used to get into lots of troublev😱

People LIKE to travel to many different places. I like to see all sorts of different places but my heart is always at the beach.

I love the beach, too. There are many unusual and beautiful BEACHES in the world. There is even one hidden in a crater in Mexico.. Hidden Beach, Marieta Islands, Mexico

Islas Marietas

Imagine a beach playing hide and seek – and actually winning. This secluded strip of sand lies inside a massive crater, allegedly created by military testing gone wrong (because apparently, someone thought bombing paradise was a good idea).

Accessing this hidden gem requires swimming through a long water tunnel, making it the only beach where you need to channel your inner James Bond just to work on your tan. Local legend says it was also a favorite smuggling spot, though these days the only thing being smuggled in is probably overpriced sunscreen.

Very unusual.

HIDE & SEEK was always loads of fun when I was a kid. Even this dog us joining in…although I don’t think he has quite worked out that he’s not meant to peep.

Aw – so cute!
Have you ever wondered what dogs THINK about? Maybe it’s – When is supper? Where’s my bone? Why can’t I chew on that leather shoe, but I can chew on my leather chew toy? What’s that good smell? Where is my human? Will my human return?

Do you remember the fun of learning tonllay CATCH when you were tiny? It took me ages to learn to catch as kept forgetting to bring my hands close enough together.

It is FUN every time you learn a new skill or do something for the first time. Going fishing and catching your first fish is pretty exciting for most kids. :fish:

CATCHING things isn’t always fun. Like when you catch a cold.

I don’t think most of us have any concept of what really COLD means. The coldest place on earth is Mount Vinson, the highest peak in Antarctica–where the temperatures drop to -133.6 degrees F (-92 degrees celsius)

Brrrrrr now that really is cold

Athletes train really hard to ensure they are at the PEAK of their fitness levels especially when it is Olympic year..

The most modern TRAIN in the world is the Shanghai Maglev, which can reach speeds up to 603 km (375) miles per hour

Wow that’s fast.

The 100 metres sprint is a fast event where athletes reach high SPEEDS. They can run, at top speed, 27-28 mph (43-45 km/h). That’s fast in my book although not quite the trains speed

Humans do some strange things to have fun. In Bunol, Spain there is a big EVENT every year in late August called La Tomatina, a chaotic tomato throwing festival. No one knows how it started, but has continued since 1940.
