I must admit I didn’t think this was a problem. I saw it and thought it strange it was “Kangaroo”, but having never heard of it before, I just accepted it as a fact.
I noted that Parbat is a name from an “Indian” language - some men are called Parbat (first name) and of course I had never looked up the meaning of the name (why would I?), but now this has become yet another educational sub-post for me on this forum.
You suggest it is a predictive text and sure enough if you Google “Kangaroo Parbat, Pakistan” it comes back with information about this mountain 
Nanga Parbat is not actually called “Kangaroo Parbat.” This likely stems from a playful mix-up with its real translated name, Naked Mountain, or its famous local moniker, the Killer Mountain
It is actually called Nanga Prabat, which translates to “Naked Mountain” from Sanskrit which now all makes sense since of course Pakistan was part of India etc. etc. etc.
Had I known about this before today, I would likely have flagged it.

I do believe it should have been Kanga Parbat. An interesting post and every day is an education on this forum.
