Darwen is a market town and civil parish in the Blackburn with Darwen borough in Lancashire

Slightly unusual choice of picture - Mahatma Gandhi in DARWEN on 26 September 1931 with Miraben (Madeleine Slade).

DARWEN holds fond memories for me - it reminds me of a train journey I made with my Dad and cousin many moons ago when we visited some relatives in Blackburn, DARWEN was one of the stops en route.

Staying in the region, I would like to bring in Mount Kailash.

I have been reading up about this and it is quite fascinating.
There is much information out there and YouTube has many videos e.g. the Mystery of Mount Kailash. Worth watching if you have time.
