Foula - a remote and sparsely populated small island off the west coast of the Shetland Isles
Gibraltar - a British overseas territory. Plenty of monkeys there.
Holy Island - just off the coast near Berwick-on-Tweed. It is another sparsly inhabited island. There are probably many more seabirds than humans!

Oldham - a town that used to be in Lancashire till 1974. After that it was in Greater Manchester. The town has a proud history of cotton spinning. Sadly, there are very few mills working now.
Queensferry - South and North on the Firth of Forth. These two villages became very quiet after 1964 when the Forth Road Bridge was opened to carry the traffic over from Edinburgh to Fife. I remember stopping at the bridge viewpoint in the summer of 1964 to view the new engineering masterpiece. We then crossed the bridge and carried on to Inverness.
Rio De Janiero
