Does anyone want to discuss this with me? I have some ideas!!
Sounds interesting, I wonder what you have planned.

No I dont have anything planned but I would love to talk about it. Does anyone else what to have a discussion.
I love the idea of a festival.
I’ve been thinking about that word, the title of this thread and what it means to me.
A festival is a celebration.
To participate, for me, would be to celebrate that I am still here, still alive and able to enjoy what life has to offer.
Last night outside my window a little bird was loudly singing as the sun went down. His message was that the bright sunny time we had that day was coming to a close. It was time to get to a safe place to roost, to rest, to remain until the first beams of tomorrow wake us to join again in the business of living. I am sure that little bird will soon sing out with a salute, a readiness, to take part in a brand new day.
In its own way that bird is celebrating the festival of which every living thing is a part.
I don’t trill, I don’t have that bird’s beautiful song, but I can join in the celebration on a new day and take a part in the festival.
I can make my noise, shout my shout and strain to hear the music of the life of which we are all a part.
As I write this in the dark at 3 a.m.
I hold on tight, waiting for those first fingers of light,
reaching over the horizon and bringing us our new day.

Thank you, Crystal, for helping me find my Muse and to DeAnn for saying hi assuring me I am not alone.
I will always believe in magic.
I would love to talk about and join the festival. I don’t know exactly what it is you have in mind, but I see @Bobbi has found a way to join.
I have my own way as well. But I am certain there could be endless ways.
It is 7.00 a.m. here and I declare the Festival open.
I claim it for all of us. It is ours to do with as we will.
My words are only a tiny part of something huge.
There are more than a million of us here in the U.K. who have arrived at this point.
Apparently another joins us every five minutes.
There is time to rest, take a break, recuperate.
We are here to celebrate our existence and to rejoice over a future that will allow us to look forward to a life worth living.
I can set up another Jitsi Meet we can talk, exchange ideas, move along.
Take the lead, there is room for your input, your ideas, a direction pointed out by you.
Maybe later this morning or even this afternoon.
This is not just a one day festival, so there is time to get something together.
We have here a gang that anyone can join, I feel, but that is up to whoever takes part.

@Bobbi
You have a beautiful way with words. Just reading this inspired me. Thank you❤️
I can’t trill either but I’ll give a good caw at the festival.
to you,
@SimonInEdinburgh @Rups @Trace57 @healingmysoul72 @DeAnn
and any who read here and think this is for you, because it is.
Please take part in this in whatever way seems right and natural to you.
You make it what it is.
It will stand or fall, as it must.
