Hi Fred you mention your left leg I had my stroke in April this year and its my left leg / hip that’s giving me most problems I walk and exercise every day but it still stiffens up any tips !
With any exercises like that its always best to end with some stretches, to loosen out all those tensed up muscles.
One of the disadvateges of winter exercising is the cold. People can foreget to warm up them muscles they’re working on before they get started too. Thats a recipe for muscle tightness because those muscle are already tense from the cold.

Totally agree,every day is precious to me now.have an appointment with my consultant this afternoon,I seem to be on so many pills.Could you guys tell me your daily medication do we stay on this for the rest of our lives
Hi what he says but add duloxoteen and a new cholesterol injection every 3months and the pattern is so similar.
No epileosey nor diabetes meds as yet but gabapentine i1200 mg daily spread over 3 doses of 400mg

My meds are clopidogrel, atorvastatin 80 mg & lansoprazole. No BP meds for me.
I do take some other meds but not stroke related.
I’m on:
Atorvastatin 20mg
Ramipril 10mg
Amlodipine 5mg
Clopidogrel 75mg
Metformin 500mg
Sitgliptin 100mg
The last 2 are for diabetes, been on them about 16yrs now. But yes, I’m on them all for life.
