Dysarthria

Hello,

I am afflicted with communication issues since my Stroke nearly 4 years ago.
Basically my speech is very difficult (dysarthria) and my SLTs have been brilliant and I use aids etc daily in my quest to improve.
My question is has anybody had Dysarthria (difficulty speaking) and improved enough to be understood?

Hi. I too have difficulty in being understood. I have tried for four years and progress is minimal. Grateful for any help , Lilian
