Dry Eyes syndrome lack of communication 2

Hi Folks
After my visit to Optician last week, The lady sent a message to my GP Surgery stating the drops i needed for treatment. She did this in front of me stating she has sent messages before to GP surgery and no one bothered to read said message.
Finally managed to contact the Surgery today. Was told no message had been recieved regarding the Eye drops optician said i MUST take 4 times a day.
Back on phone to Optician and explained the situation.Lady is back on duty tomorrow so have to ring back.
After the heart monitor epic screw up here we go again.

PS
Just recieved yet another phone call from Surgery asking if i still wanted to have a heart monitor fitted ?.
Dam thing was fitted on 12th this month.
I think im living in a monty python sketch.

It would seem communication is not their strength.

A policy of ‘ignore it and it will go away’ does not inspire confidence or trust.

kind of expected it to be honest.

Indeed ! I have to have 6 monthly blood tests to check for potassium because of meds …so I made an appointment, had it, and 2 days later got a phone call to go in for a repeat as it was high..,I did..was told it was prob because sample had been left overnight…result of next test was completely normal, but after a week of worrying I had to ring them to get this result. THEN about a week later the surgery rang to say my 6 month test was due!!! I explained to her what had gone on and asked her to look at the computer….Oh yes she says I can see it….DUH!! Ach weel, I laughed and said I was glad I was at least on their radar! Whaddagoneado!

I have researched dry eyes thoroughly ; our poor eyes are so delicate and so intimately connected with our brain that after stroke the slightest disturbance in homeostasis can upset them : Dead ponies (mitochondria) meant I had problems that started 44 days after my stroke. My own research gave me answers to reverse a chronic condition.

Optician told me biggest risk besides the blurred vision dry eye can cause rips and holes in the eyes. Luckily my eye structure is ok at present.
It all adds to my lack of balance which really effects every day life.
