I wonder if this might be a good thing Jenny. Being rough and uneven, the fact you are conscious of it makes you think about what you are doing - focuses the mind. Also, walking on uneven ground is actually good for the body as it uses different sets of muscles.
That’s interesting. I was half thinking of leasing a scooter. What you have said puts a different light on things. I have noticed not going out with my walker for a couple of days has affected my ability to do certain exercises.
Do you have dropped kerbs? You may find you have to go a little further but it’s easier if there are dropped kerbs. I really struggle to get on and off kerbs. If you need more dropped kerbs speak to your town or parish council - they can look into it on your behalf.
Hello. I did my back in so no progress. My niece uses a scooter as she is disabled. She has one for smooth surfaces and one for rough ones like where I live. She said Halfords did them but we couldn’t find any on line. How are you?
I have never seen scooters in Halfords but can’t say I have ever really looked. I got mine from a Company called Ableworld who have a showroom a mile away from me. I did look at Careco too and another I can’t remember the name of.
I’m doing ok thanks. Looking forward to a restful weekend after a difficult week - mainly work stuff but some medical things too.
