How has stroke affected your communication? What have you found useful to help you?
My voice went deeper and I often stumble over words, hesitating before I can say them. I used to read loud and clear at church but have lost confidence.

Have you had support from a speech & language therapist? the more you practice, the more chance you have of getting your confidence back, but I know that is often easier said than done, due to other effects such as fatigue.
Are you still reading at church, although you feel you have lost your confidence?
