I think it is David as it is David’s father that had 3 sons not David ![]()
Mrs5k is right --the answer is David.
Time to strain the brain again.
Turn me on my side, and I am everything. Cut me in half, and I am nothing. What am I?

oh I need to think about this one a bit more.
Nope sorry can’t get that one.
I’m with @Mrs5K on this - I think I’ll ask the audience ![]()
I think its number 8
Is it piece number 7?
It’s unlucky for some and it’s certainly unlucky for me as I thought it was 13, but having seen Ann’s response, I think @Mrs5K might just be right ![]()
HHilary is right - it is the number 8.
Here’s another brain teaser–Forward I am heavy, but backward I am not. What am I?
Ok- for all of you desperate to know the answer to the riddle-Forward I am heavy, but backward I am not. What am I? The answer is “ton”.
Now this is going to weigh heavy on my mind as I do not know how I did not get this straight away. ![]()
Ooooooo clever. I don’t think I would have worked that out but now I have seen the answer it is very obvious.
I wonder if we overthink these things ![]()
Okay. Here’s another one to ponder. I bet you’ll get this one.
A bus driver goes the wrong way down a one-way street. He passes the cops, but they don’t stop him. Why?
Maybe he wasn’t in his bus at the time? It doesn’t say he was driving just that he is a bus driver ![]()

He passed the cops but they did not see him and so they didn’t stop him,
or
the cops were dealing with a much more serious crime such as a bank robbery and so they chose to deal with the bank robbers.
There is another possibility and perhaps, as Mrs5K says, maybe the bus driver was not driving his vehicle and so was not doing anything illegal and so the cops had no reason to stop him.
Ok, that’s me done ![]()
You are both absolutely right. The bus driver was walking. ![]()
