Hi @Bobbi
That’s a good message.
I hope that reading by those who are having difficulties they find with focus on acceptance or attitude things improve for them
Paras 5 & 6 particularly resonate
I suggest that our admin read it for messages that are empirically shown would be usefully emphasised
Placing your message on the medium platform where you can speak freely is also a move of merit are you a user of Reddit & r/stroke? A challenge with medium is that it doesn’t have much as a funnel so the two together can be synergistic
It’s the pic your new wheels?

Would that be a death Stranding Quote ?
Ben, I must plead ignorance, but,
after a search, I found this:
“Everything is true, except for the lies.” -Fragile
I must admit to concern about what interpretation might be applied to those words.
As in all such matters we can be assured that Time will Tell.
Its just a popular phrase used in the PS5 game Death Stranding , the game is made by Hideo Kojima and touches on themes of lowliness and hopelessness. Its about connected a disjointed world. Amazing game
An apt phrase for life after stroke…
Gone gone gone gone gone.
Recipe moved, gone but not forgotten.
I agree @Bobbi that focusing on what we can rather than what we cant do is a good thing to do. We all have our moments though i’m sure.
I also tell myself that however tubbish i am feeling there is always someone worse off & that spurs me on some more.
The context of cake your typo of rubbish above to be tubbish caused a smile
At least i’ve made someone smile today.
If there’s anyone here ready to takeover the world I’ll be your speech writer - tongue securely lodged in cheek of course.

Sometimes we need to confront those problems, it is no good trying to hide them away, but equally, there is also a time to give ourselves a break. We each find our own route, make our own way.
With friends the going is not so tough.
One way or another,
