Blowing my own trumpet and encouraging you to blow yours

I just received this award:

Anniversary

This badge is granted when you’ve been a member for a year with at least one post in that year. Thank you for sticking around and contributing to our community. We couldn’t do it without you.

===

It is the third time it has been granted to me.

There have been difficult times at one end of the scale and rewarding life affirming experiences at the other.

There have been moments of clarity, but in contrast , occasions when it seemed one could not speak without sinking into an aimless quagmire of misunderstanding and doubt.

Working thorough all this can be horribly difficult one day, yet a breeze on another.

There is no reason to give up.

We who are affected by stroke have in this forum a resource.
Something that can help us through the bad times but also provide an opportunity to share and give back when the sun shines.

I want to add my message and repeat the words in the above award for us all : -

“Thank you for sticking around and contributing to our community. We couldn’t do it without you.”

We who are here searching for a path, a way forward, are that valuable resource. It is important that we maintain our input, our presence and our direction.

There are newcomers arriving every day, yet we are still here with a direction to find, a trail to blaze.

Love to you all, especially those new here,

keep on keepin’on
:writing_hand:

Happy anniversary Bobbi.

Thank you for all the wonderful posts which bring fun, knowledge, hope, happiness and a whole lot more.

I hope you’re going to stick around for a lot longer.

I think you may be familiar with this one!

So, the last badge I got was a popular link one. Apparently this is awarded when a link you share gets 50 clicks.

I had an anniversary one too back in Feb if I recall. Also 3 years I have been on the forum & part of this community.

It is the helpfulness of everyone here along with the advice & support everyone gets which keeps me coming back. Almost like a little online family.

Thank you everyone.

Great post Bobbi and thank you for sharing. You always make me laugh with your stories, so please keep them coming .

On a more serious note, this community has been a life saver for me and is still my “go to” when things get tough, even after 8 years of being part of this community.

So thank you everyone and Keep on Keeping on👍 and thanks again.

Regards Sue
