Back to flying

Hi Folks
To complement my camera outings i decided to get the drone back in action.
Purchased nearly two years ago used from a youtube content creator.
I have flyer ID and operators license plus insurance.
Spent last two days getting back into the swing of flying.
Should make my little tootles on the trike more interesting.

Should be a great addition to your days out. Although you are all genned up and legal, please may I add the caveat that some animals eg dogs, horses, grazing animals - find drones terrifying.

Drones give a better clearer picture when taking videos. And you don’t get the shaking you get if fitted to buggies or even walking with them. But low flying ones can upset animals. I like the new ones that can follow you about.

yes i live in a rural area so keep maximum distance from any livestock and use zoom for closer shots.

My drone as tracking where it will follow me. I will set it at 70 meters distance if i ever use that function. Had the drone quite a while and never felt the need to use tracking.

need weather to cool down before i venture out mate. This heat really does me in.Been flying the drone in short stints in rear yard.
My prob is im a idiot when it comes to transferring video from the drone to my laptop. I transfer a video, put it in a file and then its lost forever :grinning_face:https://studio.youtube.com/video/gOO_1tJrzwY/edit

My Camera will still be the most used item for taking shots. The drone will be used now and again i think.

Certainly a far cry from the polypropylene foam gliders, powered by elastic bands, that I used to fly as a kid.
