Haha ok a blip… have go for tests on my heart and back to my stroke specialist i go again… just havin a low moment as i thought i was jogging on…then my doctor has told me i need rest and now prescribed me zolpidem…
so whilst i was drawing earlier i did a picture of me and the wife… we adopted as sone would say a persona between us when i had my stroke…we have tattoos i drew of these to aswell so when we stand infront of each other they face each other. My wife is beautiful ofc and i am jack hehehe a touch broken hahah

So i drew this feeling i needed a hug…lol

We also have rings saying " her jack" and “his sally”

I will be guns blazing tomorrow i feel i let everyone down aswell today… stroke after effect suck…!

@Harmonixx hope you feel brighter soon. Love the picture & the message within it.

And please never feel you’ve let people down. You do need to rest & if your dr has told you that too it really must be so.

Don’t forget why we are all here. Strokes are unreliable so and so’s we all have to contend with here…among other health issues in some cases.
So you’ll never be put down as “punctuality hopeless” on your report in this forum  It’s more a case of “expect me when I arrive” on here, just par for the course so need to apologise!

You have to look after you first and foremost and if that means lots of rest then so be it. We all will still be here
Did the zolpidem help you get off to sleep at all?

Ok heres another example of backgrounds…
If you notice the clouds 1 you will see the boundary line inbetween them… this gives the clouds a little curve anf perspective…
I know we are all on lines at the moment and your imagination may change over the next day or 2 and this is why i have kept this pretty simple upto now…

Okie Dokie and tyvm for not shouting at your teacher/crazy guy…

Oh and foregrounds are tomoz with many different variations… oooh ooooh and trees…haha… after foregrounds are in then we really get to the real intresting parts…

As you may not realise this but the lines you have added are really a guide to whats really coming…hehehe

The zolpidem… omg made me feel ill and then lets say me and the toilet became friends for a few times… sat down on that for a while… by the time the squits subsided it was 4am and i dropped regardless… hahaa so in essence nope they kept me awake longer…

@Harmonixx

We really appreciate your efforts but be kind to yourself if fatigue hits. I’m not the only one pleased that you have taken this on.

If you do need a break we ain’t gonna walk out on you. Ease up and you’ll find we are still here.

We’ve got used to things taking a bit longer sometimes and anticipation enriches the recipe.

Keep on keepin’ on
 :+1:

Ok heres the begining of foregrounds i would learn this on a seperate piece of paper or board… as we will be doing alot of work on this section…

TREES…

LEAVES AND OTHERS WILL BE ADDED THIS IS STILL LINES REMEMBER…

Even if you looked at a tree outside you will see countless V’s
Has anybody ever noticed this…

The variety of geometry trees display is an endless fascination.
2s or 3s, 45, 60 or 90°
Etc

I very much agree trees have great geometric patterns…

Oh here we go… now we are going to get a bit more technical and and some real nice foreground ideas… Trees can be added all over but what you may like to add will really stand out that little more…

Walls and gates

Boat ramp on lake

Hopefully i explained it ok if not please tell me…

PUT YOUR VANISHING POINT ABOUT HALFWAY UP YOUR PAGE IT SHOULD BE OK

the boat ramp is really same principle as the wall i should imagine you guys will have fun with this bit as now we are getting into the real nitty gritty of it…
Enjoy… " any questions plzzzz holla"

As you see we are still on lines… maybe 1 more day on forground ideas then contours, shading and light…or colouring all to come

This thread was an exciting and extending mould breaker from most of ones we have traditionally seen .

Are you going to continue? .

I’m viewing on a mobile phone and I have found the phone screen size a challenge with the illustrations yeah I know I could have gone and looked on the desktop computer through a web browser

I’ve enjoyed the thread although I haven’t produced any artwork

my interest at the start of the thread was that maybe it would help Inspire me to do things that would be helpful in developing my hand .

the theme has, quite appropriately in legitimately been in producing the pictures rather than the battle I still face which is being able to hold something to produce a picture with.

still the threads going to be here in perpetuity so I can come back to it.
at the moment I’m equal to holding the handle of my wheelbarrow so I’ll go back to weeding the garden in preparation for buying seeds & maybe a few plants to put in - a left handed activity where assistance from the right hand is possible rather than an activity focused on the right hand
Thanks for all your generous curation of posts in this thread harmonixx

Foregrounds (buildings)

This is the final part of our lines building…then its down to the real part that makes our drawings come to life…

Pretty quick and simple way of adding building… in my oppinion… do barns… houses can be tricky and a pain really…
The next part of all of this will be shading/colour and how to add light effects…
Woohooo

Hope everyone is doing well… ofcourse you are i have every bit of faith in all of you…
