Answering a question

My reply

To be honest there isn’t much of a thread. Apart from communicating by writing.

Over the four years since my first stroke I hope my output has been, can be, of service to others. From a selfish point of view I have found that writing about my experiences has helped me set my thoughts in order and find a focus that I think is therapeutic. It is for this reason I encourage others to share their lives as a path to discovering oneself and finding others.

I am sure that I will never be in a position to provide an answer to stroke and the various effects it produces. However I believe we can learn from one another, be inspired by the efforts of others, discover something new and hopefully make our lives a little better.

There is no sure insurance against those times when things go wrong but I believe that life is in a continuous state of flux and for every down there is an up. Realising this can help one find one’s way.

Discovering an answer to the question of how to live, where to find energy, focus, direction, is an abstract philosophical puzzle that mankind as been seeking to solve, i am sure, ever since there was such a thing as humanity.

I’m not trying to write a book, so that’s enough words for now.

Thank you for posing your question.
