Another issue

Just over a year from having a stroke and doing well ,only to be told that a main factor of having the stroke was a hole in the heart. Speaking to the consultant having a pfo closure would give me a very good chance of not having another. Had it done 6 weeks ago but now have another issue in that my heart races , to a point that if it happens again some people just keel over and die. Now waiting to have an ablation to stop the heart getting the signal to pump ,which it shouldn’t be getting.when does it all stop… I want to get on with life please…

Hello Russ - I can only try to imagine how you must be feeling. But if I may, I’d like you to think back to a few months ago and how you were feeling then. Do you think you might be able to get some of that pasitivity back?

I have just been through 6 weeks of counselling and was made to realise that I’ve got to accept every change not just the big changes,as in being able to stir a cup of coffee is as big as going from not being able to walk to walking, being positive is hard going but being negative will make it harder. Have a great new year

Oh how frustrating for you. one issue solved another one created. Sometimes it feels never ending doesn’t it. It will get better though. Just hold on to that thought.

Hope you don’t have to wait long for the ablation.
