Upper limb

This is interesting to all of us 1 handers…

DBS is also a possible aid to CPSP. Nigel who was here[1] is moving closer to having electrodes implanted for his pain.

In CPSP the balance of pros & cons is severe & constant pain with no relief Vs a chance of relief. In upper limb it’s a bit different! I’d love to have a working right hand. Would I risk brain surgery & replacement of part of skull with a device & battery? Hmmmm

Risk vs benefits is always a tricky one.

I hope Nigel gets the relief he’s looking for.

Very interesting article. I I would love to have a working arm but not sure I would be courageous enough to have such a procedure.
