On the same day, at the same age as Dolly Parton, wonderful character actor and stroke survivor Tim Curry has passed away. He kept on working despite the severity of his stroke, doing many voice-overs for animations, and what a distinctive voice too.

He had a very distinctive appearance too. I didn’t know he was a stroke survivor..

It seems the BBC has annoyed some by its heavy bias towards the tributes to Dolly Parton relative to Tim Curry. It seems the BBC really is going through a bad patch right now

I used to get him popping up on my Facebook feed, very dry sense of humour…very sad at his passing xx

He was a very talented performer. I saw him in The Pirates of Penzance at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane many years ago. He was brilliant!
