@Susie1 , how about self-charging hybrids? There are loads out there. Or, go for petrol/electric hybrid. (i.e. Toyota Prius). I wouldn’t recommend all electric. The claimed range on the adverts aren’t what they say it is.
@Rups , point taken. That’ll deter me, I don’t like snakes. ![]()
Never knew there were self charging hybrids..shows how much thought I gave to it at the time…I once went all eco warrior and didn’t have a car for 3 years…I am now thinking about going back to this…I agree public transport can be limiting but driving can often be unpleasant these days x
@Susie1 , that’s true. Especially with traffic congestion. Try reading autotrader.co.uk. They have a range of cars you could buy or lease. Give it a go when you get chance.
So pleased for you Bobbi.
After just over 2 yrs post stroke, although still unable to walk with only the use of my right arm, I have just acquired a little smart car sand have an electric chair coming. Trying to get a driving assessment is impossible, phone goes unanswered. Then I would need my vehicle adapted. Meanwhile. Still trying to walk, will my brain never get the memo. I know I a m lucky to be alive after a Hemorrhagic stroke, it’s just that this type takes longer to recover from. I have weekly physio and go to the gym, I smile everyday as Bobbi says we have to keep keeping on.
