Hi all, im only 3 months post stroke but finding my way! I use to talk for hours before, now, probably half hour max. If im listening to people i tend to lose concentration after 20-30 mins. Note taking is my go too as then i can get my thoughts down on paper and expand on what i want to say. Subtitles on television can be hit and miss for me though.
I found initially after a few words I was done. Thar increased over time but still not back to pre stroke levels. Very easily distracted & notes are my go to too. If itâs not written down it doesnât happen
