Does anyone know if its ok to take diazapam after a stroke when flying. Only drugs I’m on are statins and clopidogrel. I had thrombectomy and only suffer from bouts of fatigue. Be good to know if anyone has been given advice on this . thanks
Hi @Tim62 just wanted to welcome you to the forum. Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with this but I’m sure those that do will be along soon to advise.
In the meantime, have you tried doing a search on here? Just click on the magnifying glass above right and key in significant search words like diazepam and search through the results there.
Hi @Tim62 & welcome to the community.
I don’t have any experience of diazapam & my best advice is to consult your GP. You might also need to check with the airline you are flying with.
Welcome to the community.
I can’t offer you any advice based on personal experience, but suggest that your local pharmacist or GP may be able to help.
Also, I make it a hard and fast rule to ALWAYS read the leaflet that comes with any medication I take as this has some very useful and important advice on Dos and Don’ts relating to the specific medicine.
Have a lovely holiday and looking forward to receiving your postcard
Welcome, hope you are jetting off somewhere nice.
I may be reading between the lines but am assuming this is diazepam you have used before your stroke?
It would be prudent to ask your GP and/or pharmacist. Hope you have declared your stroke on your holiday insurance too. Not declaring any medical problem invalidates your whole policy with a lot of companies
