That doesn’t seem too bad but can you get that top number 126 (systolic) any lower? I think they like it below 120 over 80. The bottom number 71 (diastolic) is perfect. If all your readings have been similar, top number being over 120 it might be an idea to see your doctor and take those readings with you. You’re still in the range of pre-high blood pressure, but with your current symptoms of being tired and dizziness, the doc might want to keep an eye on it.

What you could do is make the gp appointment now and in the mean time get your chemist to fit you with one of those 24hr bp monitors. That will give a better range of readings for both day and night to give to your gp. That’ll help speed the process up to getting this sorted out soonest.
Most chemist take blood pressure readings now and fit monitors. Think it’s something started post covid to relieve the pressure on surgeries.

I think what @Kusal might mean is:
Is there a marked difference in your blood pressure when lying down compared to when you take it standing up.

I wish you could swim as well, mostly because I find it enjoyable, and wrongly think everyone would. I don’t actually swim the entire time. I swim but mostly what I have been doing is stretching by moving in ways I cannot move out of the water without falling. I have much scar tissue that needs stretched out a bit so I can move my torso. I hope it will be less painful.

I had no idea acupuncture could be used for emotional problems. I know it can be very helpful for pain, but it is rarely paid for by insurance in the US, and I don’t have the funds, most especially since I am still unable to work. I am medicated with Duloxitine for those issues. Thankfully, it seems to work fairly well for me, without side issues.

For an accurate reading of morning BP, you should take it an hour after you’ve taken your BP tablets, not before Simon. Wonder what your readings now after taking it?
