@ScottishMagic, The kick in the “****”. I’m wincing at the though of it. I’ve not had a stroke but my mum is a stroke sufferer/survivor.

Yes - it’s a massive shock . I had a lacunar stroke and it’s been four years. I have been told that the area affected is like a control centre in that it controls many functions. It’s also been a huge learning curve . Good Luck
