Pain clinic

I finally was able bro attend pain clinic for my six week review and guy what they decided to increase the pregabeline by a factor of two so soon to be on 150mg twice a day instead of if the 75mg twice daily.

neuro pain and spinal issues so it could be a game changer.

Hope it works for you Mark. Less pain is always a good thing as long as it isn’t replaced by something else unwanted.

Hope you had a good birthday.

Thanks the birthday was the best and first with my niece since she was born, and she isx26.

Got a coffee machine and a meal out plus a big Lego model to build,

All in all a great day.
The pain meds have already been effective since the double dose, hopefully it will settle down soon and hopefully give me me greater pain relief and freedom from the weird neuropathic pain.

Sounds like you were spoilt & glad you had a good day.

Pleased to hear your meds are helping too.

Happy New year to you and yours. May it be a year of great progress for you.

Thanks and happy new year to you and yours.

Im beginning to dream of progress on many fronts if my driving assessment isn’t good enough for e to get my license back I’m going to get a bigger scooter that manages the terrain bettt in the park.

The increased dosage of pregabeine is not making a huge difference difference The real control is my brain repair which is not linear im afraid

Thanks Mrs5k

I’m hopeful that no matter what happens I will be better next Christmas in a small way and life will be much better.

Well I had a great birthday and the increase in pregabeline to 150mgvtice daily is yielding better sleep and a more even pain existence which is better than before but not enough to cancel out the walking pain so as I ease into 2026 I am not hopeful of a return to normal walking gait and fluidity

Glad you had a good birthday. Good to hear you are sleeping better too. A good sleep does make such a big difference to how you feel.

Don’t give up hope on your gait. You just never know.
