Does anyone’s numbness go away after there stroke

Hi @Clairekirby1990 , almost two years along still have some numbness .on my affected hand. This is despite a successful rehab on the arm- left which had been the main issue post stroke. Just my experience but it’s just really one or two fingers now.

My partner has 2 fingers and a thumb which is numb

No worries, I’m lucky as all that’s I have and more or less cam work around this on most things these days.

One year on and my face numbness just about gone. It has been worse some days than others and has come and gone but I am hopeful it will be gone for good. Hopefully. Who knows

It was. Most of the time as if I’d left the dentist and at times it felt like my words were lagging behind tho people all said I was speaking fine. It was on left (stroke) side. It turned to pins and needles and as I said altered day to day. Then some days there for a few hours.
I can only think that neuroplasticity has been at work I’m lucky the way things are going atm. Hopefully it continues….
My first fingers in both hands go numb in cold weather. This is usually for people with too thin veins but my veins used to be good size so it must be through blood restrictions. I am taking blood thinners and that is probably the reason.
