I hope the new splint will be as good as the old one for you. Then you can get back on track with your walking.
A link below to some tennis elbow exercises. It can months for it to clear up though so ig could be troublesome for a while yet.

Hi John, I always find these guys good for giving advice on such things. They tend to give sound, practical, logical advice that just works for me.
And here’s one for doing your squats without having to hold on to your support rail with that arm.
So, if you can, have a brows around on their YouTube channel as they have lots of useful video’s and sound advice.

Question Anne.
Is it better to do 1 leg stands with or without splint on
I don’t think it makes a lot of difference. If your splint is keeping your foot straight & providing stability then I would wear it. If it isn’t making any difference then try it without as the aim is to ultimately get to a point where you don’t need it.
How is your dad? Hope he’s a little stronger.
Thanks for the advice Anne.
He has a good day then a bad one.
Hopefully go for my new splint next week.
Another question for you.
When you were learning to walk did physio get you to put bad leg first or good
Hopefully your dad will start to have more good days than bad ones as he starts to get a bit stronger.
I hope your new splint is much better for you.
I think I always led with my good leg first. When using stairs it was lead with good leg going up and bad leg coming down.
My physio after rehab got me to use bad leg first and now I can’t change it.
I can go up steps but not down yet.
If I am able to get my new splint next week I’m not leaving the room till it’s as close to the old one as possible and I’m leaving this splint behind.
Thanks for all your advice Anne you have been a godsend
I wouldn’t worry which leg you use first. Just do what works for you.
Good luck for your splint appointment.
Put it this way Anne physio after rehab got me to use bad leg first but according to paramedic it should be good leg first.
I can go up steps but not down as physio never showed me how.
I’m calling about splint tomorrow so will let you know what happens.
