Were they “silent strokes” that you had in your MRI? I don’t think they cause symptoms, do they?
I wonder how much they really know about strokes sometimes. My mother had a brain bleed stroke, which is not nearly as common as blood clot strokes (ischemic). Sadly, while they’re both strokes, there are differences between hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes that never get appropriate dressing.
I don’t know what silent strokes are Matthew but I did have symptoms, mainly physical in that I lost functionality in my hand and leg but there was a little disorientation too which I think I still have a mild carry over of
I was addressing you, so thank you for telling me.
I’ve known about several cases where seemingly very healthy people are told that have had several silent strokes, many of whom you would never guess. They had zero symptoms (not all, but many).
It’s all very confusing to me. I’ve found strokes to be highly complex, so much so much that I can’t make heads or tails about many things I’ve been reading about them these past two years. I used to have more “fixed” views, and now, they’re ever-evolving.
Your case represents the complexity of the stroke phenomenon. I don’t even know what you would call my mother’s case (never got one answer as to the cause of her brain bleed).
