My affected arm shakes sometimes when I’m using it any idea if it’s nerves?
Anyone else experiencing similar?
Not sure but could be a nerve thing. Or maybe it is getting used to being used again.
Definitely nerves I think or a nervous disposition lol
Hi @Sue1958
My arm on my affected side also shakes on occasions, I’m not sure why this happens but it tends to be if my arm is not supported. My shoulder is subluxed and I presume this is why it shakes. It often happens in the car but soon stops if I hold it against my body for a few seconds. When I’m sitting comfortably at home, I make sure my arm is supported on a cushion.
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
Regards Sue
You’ve been very helpful yes it’s when I’m trying to exercise it.
Thank you
Yes, @Sue1958, nerves.
Though it could be clonus or just lack of smooth upper brain control
Here’s a tip ; buy some Epsom salts and stick in a bucket of water ; try dipping or dunking your hand in that to see if it helps. Nothing nasty can happen with this experiment.
ciao, pando
Thank you Roland I just googled clonus and sounds very much that
Thank you
