Mee too! Believe it or not, animals from prehistoric times still LIVE today! :grimacing: One of them is the Alligator Snapping Turtle, which lives in the southeastern waters of the United States. (I’m glad I live on the west coast!)

A miners lunch used to be called SNAPPING. The term comes from the sound of a miner’s waterproof tin lunch box, called a “snap tin”, opening and closing

Very interesting! Can you guess what time of year it is? The last TERM of the school year if over, and it’s time to enjoy summer vacation!

The song Mad World, originally by Tears for Fears has a line that keeps coming back to me

“Went to SCHOOL and I was very nervous”

This bersion was featured in a film Donnie Darko starring Jake Gyllenhaal and is by Gary Jules featuring Michael Andrews.

When we are presented with a new situation we are often very NERVOUS

I love that song! And I’d totally forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder.

I don’t care what scientists say, some animals cry real TEARS when they’re sad.

TEARS aren’t always for when we are SAD. Sometimes we cry happy TEARS too.

Well, I like being HAPPY and music makes me HAPPY!

HAPPY by Pharell Williams has many videos on YouTube and has been used in films etc.
His video has 1.373 Trillion views !

My personal favourite is a video by High Tatras - Slovakia tourist board?
You can watch it here.

Animals can be sad and they can be peaceful and HAPPY, too. This panda is having a happy, peaceful dream.

@ManjiB I too like happy by Pharrell Williams.

@axnr911 that panda looks very peaceful.

When things get on top of you a trip to a nice PEACEFUL beach is called for. Wish I was here.

When you’ve worked hard to accomplished something and finally meet with success, it feels like you’re on TOP of the world!

There are many wonders of the WORLD, some ancient, some modern. Of the ancient, wonders the pyramids of Giza are the only ones to be standing today.

STANDING on the shoulders of giants is a quote by Isaac Newton but it also appears on the british £2 coin

As we learn more and more, we are finding that some historic information is not correct. For example, the world believes that Isaac NEWTON was the first to discover the gravitational concepts. But it is a matter of startling fact that the theory of gravitation was created 1200 years before Newton by an Indian Mathematician Bhaskar Acharya .
Standing on the Shoulder of Giants was also the fourth studio album by Oasis.

There is mention of GIANTS in the Bible, and we all know the story of David and Goliath–but giants still live today.

I have many happy memories of story time at school when we all used to sit round in a circle whilst the teacher read to us.

There are lots of kinds of CIRCLES. A ball of yarn :yarn:, a basketball :basketball:, an orange :tangerine:. I wonder where this CIRCLE came from?

Patterns sometimes mysteriously appear in fields, usually overnight. These are known as crop CIRCLES

My particular favourite CIRCLES is the song by The New Seekers who also represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with the song Beg, Steal or Borrow.

One of the fun times of childhood is becoming a SEEKER of Easter Eggs.
