One of them is the Alligator Snapping Turtle, which lives in the southeastern waters of the United States. (I’m glad I live on the west coast!)
A miners lunch used to be called SNAPPING. The term comes from the sound of a miner’s waterproof tin lunch box, called a “snap tin”, opening and closing
