I asked it to compose five original one hit wonders as I’ve always wanted to have a one hit wonder I could release. I played back the musical scores and they were all dreadful ![]()
I can remember asking ChatGPT for the name of a musical composition that started with a descending major 3rd interval (or similar) ; it incorrectly attempted to do so THREE times ; each time it apologized profusely and admitted its mistake, then proceeded to offer me a correct answer… which was wrong, again !
Music and Chat GPT (and all the others) do not mix
I use Deepseek, and find it a valid tool (if you know how to use it) for stroke recovery. It’s Chinese, and general consensus has it that they are 10 years ahead of us, in terms of stroke rehabilitation. We are no longer world leaders in many a field, stroke-recovery a perfect example.
@pando , it goes to show there is a lot of catching up to do. It makes me wonder which other countries are ahead of the UK in terms of stroke recovery? ![]()

I love it. That made me chuckle. So it seems whatever the future holds we’ll always need a hkman to write our music ![]()
@pando , it’s no surprise place such as Sweden, South-East Asia and North-West Europe are streets ahead. Oh, and Germany & Switzerland. Not surprised about North America, they’ve always been profit over people.
It’s complex because racial genetics, gender, population and types of stroke will affect how these statistics compare culturally and geographically, never mind lifestyle choices and healthcare.
I think this is a very valid point you make Rups.
And I think this can be seen to an extent when you look at the members of this forum and compare notes along the lines of racial genetics, gender, population and types etc.
The so called lottery element is also probably applicable on a global level.
There are many fascinating things we can look at in terms of how an individual would fare depending on where in the world they were born, where they live, their upbringing, lifestyle etc.
The mind boggles!
Let the discussions continue - gives the brain food for thought ![]()
@Rups , that’s true. I’ve heard of people who live very healthy lives could fall victim to a stroke.
