I have a seizure annually. I don’t shake or anything but become unconscious and fall over.
I find this interesting Jenny - it seems it is some sort of annual event.
You say you have it once a year, every year.
I wonder if there is some trigger to this.
Is it possible for you to think back and see if there is a way we might identify the cause:
- Does it happen at the same time each year, maybe on some anniversary?
- Is there an event that takes place just before the seizure (I guess that’s the same as an anniversary).
It just seems to me there may be an explanation for why this happens if there is a common theme. Because if there is a trigger that can be identified, we can do something about it.
I’d be interested to know ![]()

Hello
I was only being approximate sorry. I had one the year I had my stroke then nothing for two years. it was triggered by stress. A common denominator is that I have them nearly all in the kitchen. I have stopped trying to clock watch and get the tea on time which is potentially relaxing. My hubby also now helps with the tea. I will pay more attention to the circumstances and if I miss a year which has happened.
