Celebrating Successes

@EssexPhil I did something similar with jigsaw pieces to help get the feeling and use of my left hand back. Frustrating initially but it definitely helped loads.

That’s a proper trip out Tricia, really well done. hope you’re able to do some more soon. :+1:

ex essex tricia. i am home now. but feel low as hubby rather live on his own as i break things, but that is partly to do with stroke,what part of essex do you live as all my family are there

@Mrs5K Another brilliant poen, Ann. You’ve inspired me to write my own even though at school I hated poetry (prefer Maths). But I have taken the one about Life Changed For You and I am slowly making it personal to me by adapting the words for my situation. Trouble is, the last paragraph is so elegant, I don’t want to be accused of plagiarism. Once I’ve finished, I’ll print it here. Best wishes.

@Retrokeyplayer awwww glad you’ve been inspired. I look forward to reading your finished poem.
P.s. I too preferred maths at school…shhhhh don’t tell anyone :rofl::rofl:

@EssexPhil I used to drive through Finchingfield when I travelled to Essex for work. Such a pretty place.

Oooo I love Somerset. I went there for a few days last year before my stroke. Hope you enjoy it x

we live in somerset,between bridgewaterand street, my pics have gone off on my documents.someare on tablet. poetry has as well

We stayed in Street when we visited. Loved the shopping village especially the lindt shop :grin::grin::grin:

when was that, i am feeling tired since wearing monitor or maybe the walk i did

We went at end of September last year. The funniest thing that happened was my hubby falling out of bed in the hotel. It was just the way he fell out and landed on the floor saying ouch I’ve got cramp…you had to be there but it tickled me so much I never slept that night for laughing. :rofl::rofl: poor hubby :blush:
I suspect its the walk that has made you tired rather than the monitor. Have a good weekend x
