As you are finding out, everything seems to take ages, especially with current pressures on the DWP.
Allowing the mobility element when somebody is in a care home and not reliant on state funding is meant to make it possible to do things which enhance their quality of life and care.
Sorry, the mobility element in PIP is payable if the person is or isn’t reliant on state funding.
So does that mean it’s not means tested?
PIP is one of the benefits that isnt means tested.
