Hi Ann - Sorry you’ve had a difficult week. You made it through and that’s what matters.
Well done on completing the puzzles. Don’t worry, your streak will continue
I also managed to complete them and in fact I stunned myself by completing the connections with relative ease - I made colossal connections to kick things off and then the homophones connections came to me in a flash. Being on a high from then on the rest came “easy” enough.
Wordle and Waffle were easy enough too!

Mum is fine or should I say her normal self which means she can surprise us with anything. Whilst she seems reasonably settled, she like some others on this forum has now gone a few days (actually, nearly a week) without any significant #2 output). In days of old, this would have been a major concern, but we are not used to these sort of challenges Mum likes to pose!
For us, we are forever learning things about life as a stroke survivor and caring for a stroke survivor.
The GP referrals have resulted in initial contact from Social Services and our local Enhanced Frailty Service (which we had never heard of (at least not to the best of my knowledge) - why does nobody tell you these things?)
Anyway, let’s see what comes of the follow-up contact.
It seems to me Ann, someone reading this at a future date may wonder what the heck is going on with this thread. There are these game results being posted regularly and interspersed are mini-chats about stroke, the weather, sport etc.
Apart from you and me, the interest in this thread has fizzled away. Wendy, God bless her soul, was a regular until her sudden passing and then there was Jeanne and Alice (Elica).
One for the Martians to figure when they find us
