Brain gut axis

Has anybody looked into this.

The university of Manchester have concluded their study and post stroke people can suffer from the Brain Gut axis adversely. Basically the study looks at the communication (or mis-communication) between the Brain and the Gut. This can cause issues with non Cardiovascular chest pain, muscle weakness, and other symptoms. My doctor knew nothing about it and is now looking at it to see if that is what having an impact on my conditions.

It may be worth a look.

If you get tipsy, then they’re communicating !
aside jokes (maybe it’s not a joke though), it’s not just the gut, it’s the whole immune system built around the gut that goes out of whack ; my face went red for a month a year ago

I’m reading The Second Brain by Michael D. Gershon and it provides an interesting overview on the relationship between the gut, brain and CNS, among other things. Well worth a read.
