Naturally there are a lot of complaints about the health service but I think NZ does extraordinarily well. We are seriously under pressure coping with Covid and there was a nation wide scream of horror last month when a woman sent home from a hospital untreated and died. Apparently the examiner didnt recognise the symptoms. That was a pretty rare case.

My local NHS Trust has been under a lot of scrutiny recently so think they are knuckling down a bit to try and keep themselves out the press. Having said that thru have just announced that they are going to close our local A&E. Eeeek.
@Loshy yes we’re all a bit worried. There is a hospital about 50 min drive from me that they are expecting us all to go to. A bit unrealistic in my humble opinion & they will need to triple the size of it for it to be able to have a chance of coping. Hoping someone sees sense but not sure they will xx
