Apps to help with Aphasia

I think I’ll bring this up at my next local Aphasia meet, we’ve never really discussed this sort of thing and maybe we should.

My mistake. Phraseboard is installed as a keyboard. SpeechAssistant is a standalone app.

Not sure about phrase board. Everything’s behind a pay wall & it doesn’t support swyping while gboard does and supports shortcut ‘macro’ eg sps can be expanded to Digitally Enabled Chronic Care Community Networks: beyond '1hr Fortnightly zoom Cafés' with a single keypress

Only suggesting ‘Phraseboard’ as an option, Simon. Some people will like the convenience and ease and be willing to pay. The standard Apple keyboard supports macro text replacements. Not sure if it can replace a ‘shortcut’ with a link, though.

Have you tried ClaroCom? Worth a look at the whole suite of applications.
