I think Carers can sometimes be very hard on themselves.
The first rule has to be care for yourself first and the rest will follow.
There are carers groups that can offer support, a chance to relax, and someone to talk to.

A chat to the Stroke Association could open some doors.
Tell them your situation and see what they suggest.
I do a little volunteering with them .
There are openings for volunteers but also they recruit for paid jobs.
Carers are very important. I had stroke and my wife is my carer. I’d be nowhere without her.
(She invented this game thread on the forum by the way, she’s a very creative lady.)
@Bobbi . hmm, I’ll keep my options open. I might consider it but, no promises. I want to be physically and mentally well before I look for work or other opportunities.

@Mrs5K , I’ve got a kitchen top grill and gridle just like the last picture. I still use it today. Likewise the gridle in the first picture. Great for cooking steak.
